Introducing Micro-Challenges

If you’ve followed me for a while you know I do these “Micro-Challenges”.

Over the past few years:

– Cold-only showers for a year
– Only meat & eggs for a month
– 5-day fasts

Why do I do these?
1) It’s a Reset.

E.g. After 4 weeks of meat and eggs you can really taste the sugar and chemicals in almost every other food you eat.

We’re constantly exposed to more comfort, more consuming, more everything.

This reigns it in a bit.

2) It increases Appreciation (or Gratitude).

Best meal I’ve ever had? Mince and cheese (after my first 5-day fast).

Yup, in our comfortable 21st Century, first-world lives, it’s good to remind ourselves how easy we have it.
